With the UK Government’s Illegal Migration Bill moving through the Houses of Parliament, we’re reminded by the Revd Dr Roger Walton that living ‘A Methodist Way of Life’ requires us to move beyond offering the hospitality basics (as important as they are). We’re challenged to make a stand against the hostile treatment of refugees and to speak out against racism.

To encourage us in these endeavours, this issue features stories of churches in Newcastle, Evesham, and Brighton and Hove who are opening their doors (and their hearts) to people who have fled their homes overseas in search of sanctuary.
