This famous book of remedies from the pen of the founder of the Methodist Church outsold all his other publications. Produced to celebrate the 300th Anniversary of the birth of this remarkable man, this is a word-for-word reproduction of the entire text, with the early typeface changed to be readable in the 21st Century. Some treatments seem very strange to us now, others are still part of modern medical wisdom. Many were effective, some must have been dangerous! However, all were the best that could be offered at the time and express John Wesley’s belief that the love of God calls his followers to seek the good health of both body and mind for all.
